William Ballantine Dorsey 1942-
![]() Eucalyptus and Wildflowers |
William Ballentine Dorsey calls both Ojai, California, and Red Mountain near Homer, Alaska, home. He truly enjoys the wilderness, and had helped map the Copper River Delta for Alaska Fish and Game, and tagged fish. He homesteaded in Tutka Bay, and seins for salmon in the summer while painting in the winter. He paints landscapes, primarily of his two home states, but he also travels extensively. As well as holding shows in his home states, he has held shows in Stowe, VT, Taos, NM, Sun Valley, ID, and in Jackson Hole, WY.
